Requirements

Completed compulsory education. Higher level of schooling is beneficial for further training
Skilled craftsmanship
Enjoyment in working outdoors
Strong constitution
Ability to work in a team
Spatial awareness

Training

Duration of apprenticeship: three years.
Inter-company courses take place.

Further Education

Draftsperson Federal VET Diploma in civil engineering (additional basic training)
Foreman (practical and foreman college)
Construction foreman or construction material tester (examination for the Federal Diploma of Higher Education)
Qualified foreman PET College or technician PET College
Qualified master builder (examination for the Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education)
Qualified civil engineer BSc FH or architect BA/MA
