The park near Lugano's main train station, with an area of 21,000 square meters, is characterized by wide paths that wind up a slope to a hill from where you can see the pink "Enderlin Tower" rising.
Sun-drenched place of tranquility, with new RUB TAN fall protection surface
Today's Parco del Tassino was once the hunting ground of the wealthy Enderlin family, who owned a beautiful villa on the Tassino hill in the nineteenth century. This park, near Lugano's main train station, covers an area of 21,000 square meters and is characterized by wide paths that wind up a slope to a hill from where you can see the pink "Enderlin Tower" rising. The panoramic terrace at the foot of the tower offers a magnificent view and is surrounded by centuries-old trees. From here you have an incomparable view of Monte Brè and the part of the lake that reaches as far as Porlezza, as far as Monte Sighignola above Campione d'Italia and finally, on the right, Monte San Salvatore.
Below the tower there is a playground that has been extensively renovated and on which our RUB TAN fall protection surfacing has been installed. Despite difficult installation with small machines and a lot of manual work, the work of WALO Ticino can be described as very successful.
