The Schuppis excavation material and aggregate washing plant in Goldach offers a sustainable solution for cleaning and processing contaminated excavation material. A sieving process is used to remove impurities, then the material is washed to remove any residues of pollutants. The processed material can then be used on construction sites for civil engineering, road construction, railway trackwork and garden landscaping projects, as well as for mineral-based flooring.
The plant therefore supports the circular economy within the construction industry and makes a significant contribution towards ensuring sustainability. Reusing the processed material means less landfill and cuts down on transport. This means that businesses can enjoy both economic and sustainability-related benefits.
