1917

Foundation in Zurich. Road and track construction becomes company tradition.

The 1st World War is still in progress, the first reinforced concrete work and road construction is carried out by WALO.
1921 First major track construction order from the Zurich city transport authority: construction of new streetcar tracks. More

On solid ground: Flooring

From 1933 concrete pavements are installed for the first time:
1939 Landi, National Exhibition, Zurich, with colored asphalt pavements and paving, from 1950 synthetic resin pavements and branches throughout Switzerland. More
