New construction Haldenacher, Birmensdorf

Just below the Birmensdorf train station, two new apartment buildings have been constructed very centrally and directly next to the school. The two compact and identical structures comprise 22 apartments. Very high-quality and affordable rental apartments were created. This also showed the great interest, shortly after the publication all apartments were reserved.

Project description

The two MFH could be raised in record time thanks to the large handling area and 2 high quality buildings in solid construction were created. Due to the good cooperation, a defect-free construction was created.
The solid construction with exposed concrete staircase and monobloc facade gives a beautiful finish to the street.

Special features

The facade masonry was specially constructed with Porotherm bricks. The plane blocks, 42.5 cm thick, are bonded in thin-bed mortar and the cavities are also filled with rock wool. This gives a unique, pleasant feeling of living and space. The advantage is, no more facade insulation is needed and the materialization is consistent. However, the prerequisite is a very clean AVOR with many details, which was perfectly executed and solved.
In addition, the ceiling of the underground garage entrance had to be built so that it could be dismantled. This was a requirement of the building permit. The ceiling slab was prefabricated and moved by crane and the hooks were left on immediately.
