Reference projects

FIFA Museum, Zurich

On a total of 3,000 m2 of exhibition space, spread over three floors, the world football association presents a unique collection of football history.

Limmattalbahn

The Limmattalbahn is one of the most dynamic regions in Switzerland. For further development, an expansion of public transport is necessary.

Central, Zurich

In 2017, the Central in Zurich was redesigned and renovated. This is one of the most important inner-city transport hubs in the city of Zurich. With six streetcar and two bus lines and around 45,000 passengers boarding and alighting each day, Central is one of the busiest stops in Zurich's public transport system.

Sechseläutenplatz, Zurich

For the redesign of the Sechseläutenplatz in Zurich, the focus was on three basic principles: opening up, greening and flexible use of the square. The surface of the new square was formed from stone belts of Vals quartzite cut to size on all sides.

New construction station square Bern

From 2005 to 2008, the new construction project of the Bahnhofplatz Bern was carried out. Full-scale work was carried out on roads, public transport facilities, railways and works pipelines.

Elementary school Lostallo

In Lostallo (GR), the new kindergarten and primary school building was equipped with floor coverings from WALO Ticino. The WALO flooring specialists proved their technical expertise in the processing of various different types of flooring.

Kölliken hazardous waste landfill

For the overall remediation of the Kölliken/AG hazardous waste landfill, SMDK decided to dismantle the hazardous waste stored in the years 1978-1985 under the protection of an airtight steel construction hall and to dispose of it in compliance with the law.

BLS reconstruction of Zweisimmen railroad station - bridge over Lenkstrasse

As part of the "TransGoldenPass" project of the Montreux-Berner Oberland-Bahnen (MOB), a transfer-free connection on the Montreux - Spiez line was created at the Zweisimmen station by constructing a gauge change facility.
