Reference projects

Double Track Expansion Project Trübbach–Buchs SG

As part of the strategic development program STEP AS25, the railway section between St. Gallen and Chur was upgraded to enable half-hourly service between St. Gallen and Sargans. We had the privilege of implementing this challenging infrastructure project as the general contractor.

SAP Garden Munich

In the heart of Munich’s Olympic Park, the SAP Garden has been constructed as the new home arena for the German ice hockey champions EHC Red Bull Munich and the German basketball champions FC Bayern Munich Basketball. WALO was responsible for installing the freezing plates, including the substructure.

Renovation of the Wasserfluhtunnel

"THE PARK" - local recreation directly at Zurich Airport

As part of the large-scale project "The Circle" at Zurich Airport, the existing recreational use on the Butzenbüel was developed into a modern and unique park. This is intended to establish itself as an outstanding excursion and recreation centre and offer both visitors and residents an oasis of peace and relaxation.

AVA - Barrier-free access to the Hofacker and Hammergut stops

Barrier-free access on the Rudolfstetten-Zufikon line. Our main task in this project was to make two stops barrier-free in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act (BehiG). In addition, access and information systems were to be modernised.

GC Zurich Tennis Club – renovation of upper floor

When a building owner opts for the same flooring again ten years down the line, that speaks for itself. HALTOPEX® HPI has been proving its worth in the cloakrooms and wet rooms on the ground floor of the GC Zurich Tennis Club since 2014. In January 2025, the building owner and site manager commissioned us to refurbish the first floor: 80 m² with uniform quality and appearance.
